Technology & Integration
Your telephone system remains. ADAM is added.
ADAM AI-Phone combines telephony, shared knowledge, and defined processes. The technical implementation is tailored to your environment.
ADAM AI-Phone complements your existing telephony system
ADAM AI-Phone is designed for integration into existing telephone systems via SIP. The telephone system remains part of your environment; ADAM enhances it with a tailored AI-powered call flow. A suitable connection must be verified for actual configuration. General SIP support does not guarantee compatibility with every telephone system, connection, or operating environment.
For a preliminary technical review, information about the telephone system, the intended call path, and the desired call forwarding settings is helpful. Please also describe which calls should reach ADAM and which should remain directly with employees. This way, telephony and call logic are considered as a cohesive process, not as two separate tasks.
An addition to your system landscape.
The telephone system connects the call to ADAM. Depending on the request, approved knowledge sources are used, defined actions are triggered, or employees are involved.

Three building blocks. A coordinated process.
SIP telephony
Check the connection to the existing telephone system and the required call and switching routes.
To know
Define approved content and responsible contact persons as a basis for answers.
interfaces
Compare desired actions and data sources with the appropriate technical requirements.
This is how we plan the integration.
1. Understand the environment
Discuss the telephone system, call routes and existing systems.
2. Define the use case
Define knowledge, permitted actions, and handovers.
3. Review implementation
Test the planned procedure from a technical and professional perspective.
What we need for the technical inspection.
Information about the telephone system, the desired routing destinations, and the relevant data sources. The operating model, network access, and AI services used are tailored to the specific use case.
Corporate knowledge and interfaces have different tasks
Shared company knowledge provides the basis for answers in conversations. This includes, for example, up-to-date information about offers, responsibilities, or opening hours. An interface fulfills a different function: it can enable defined access to another system. Whether access is only intended to read information or also to trigger an action must be explicitly defined.
For planning purposes, you should therefore distinguish between answer knowledge, data querying, and process action. Depending on the use case, the required timeliness, permissions, and allowed scope will vary. An AI model alone does not replace a well-maintained knowledge base or a secure system connection. This page does not guarantee ready-made integrations with any CRM, ERP, or specialized systems.
Redirects and exceptions as part of the overall process
A technical test should not only simulate a successful call. It should also account for unclear questions, missing information, and necessary call transfers. Defined handover paths are needed for these situations. The specific capabilities of your telephone system and how the desired workflow can be implemented will be examined based on your individual circumstances.
A shared test checklist from IT and the relevant department is helpful. It links technical questions with the expected behavior in conversations: What answers are acceptable, when are follow-up questions asked, and what is the intended outcome of the handover? This checklist is a recommendation for implementation. Specific availability, restart procedures, failure behavior, and service requirements must be clarified separately within the project and the proposal.
Frequently asked questions about technology and integration
Which telephone systems are supported?
The connection is via SIP. We will check specific manufacturers, versions, and settings based on your telephone system; a general compatibility list does not replace this check.
Can ADAM integrate a CRM or specialist system?
Suitable interfaces can integrate such systems. Available functions, access rights, and data flows must be checked for the specific use case.
Do we need to replace our telephone system?
ADAM is designed to complement existing SIP telephony. A technical assessment will be conducted to determine whether your existing configuration is suitable and what adjustments are necessary.
What documents are helpful for the integration test?
Information about the telephone system, call paths, desired call forwarding, and the planned operating model. For additional systems, information about available interfaces and authorized access is helpful; access credentials should not be included in an initial request.
What does corporate knowledge mean in a conversation?
This refers to the information your organization has made available for responses. It should be clear, up-to-date, and assigned to a responsible party. Access to other systems should be planned separately.
